The HTC Desire HD has a large and vivid 4.3 inch touch display accompanied by Dolby Mobile and SRS virtual surround sound audio, plus connectivity to a large screen television if desired. It also has a powerful camera for image and HD video capture.
The phone includes HTC Sense user interface on top of the latest Android operating system, 2.2 Froyo. The handset is powered by a fast 1 GHz processor and 768 megabytes of random access memory. Its internal storage memory starts with 1.5 gigabytes which can then be topped up with the microSD card slot featured offering expandable memory for images, videos, music and more. 
The Desire HD has an internal GPS receiver which allows it to provide you with great location based services including Navigate to provide you with route planning and navigation and Locations to provide more detailed location information. Images and photos captured are also automatically location tagged. The 8 megapixel camera offered on this phone is auto focus and has a dual LED flash. Video recording is in High Definition quality at 720 pixel resolution. Image capture includes face detection software, and various built-in effects including vignette and depth of field. 
Connectivity included on this handset is micro USB (USB 2.0) connection for file sharing and data syncing with a computer with ease, and Bluetooth 2.1 with enhanced data rate (EDR) for wireless file and data sharing over a close porosity (about10 metres). The Bluetooth includes File Transfer and Object Push Protocols (FTP and OPP respectively) along with the wireless stereo audio pro-life A2DP for wireless headsets. The alternative to which being headphones connected via the 3.5mm audio stereo jack connection featured. 
You can stay in touch with friends constantly using the Friend Stream widget which lists all of your latest friends social networking updates alongside the integrated Facebook and Twitter for HTC Sense which this handset provides. Meanwhile, photos and videos can be enjoyed back with the Gallery widget, and Music sorts tracks  by artist and album for easy selection and enjoyment. The HD video playback goes with you wherever the handset does, and integrated YouTube is also present for you.
